Trader Joe's freezer section ruled this year's awards (with one exception)

Trader Joe's Chili & Lime Flavored Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips emerged as the top-selling product of the year, marking the second consecutive year this store-brand alternative to Taki's has claimed the top spot. However, this standout item is somewhat of an anomaly in a landscape dominated by frozen foods. In the rankings for runners-up and category-specific awards, Trader Joe's frozen offerings were overwhelmingly popular.
Following the Chili & Lime chips, the remaining top five products were all frozen items. Chicken soup dumplings and pork soup dumplings secured second and fourth places, respectively, with vegetarian kimbap taking the third spot. The fifth position was held by their butternut squash mac and cheese. In the appetizer category, frozen spinach and artichoke dip was the favorite, while frozen hash browns led the breakfast segment, and chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches took the dessert title.
The only exception to the frozen food trend was in the produce section, where bananas claimed the top position. Overall, it’s evident that Trader Joe's frozen food aisle is a clear favorite among customers and fans alike.
